Feminism is Intersectional
This pop punk song is about how feminism is a collective liberatory effort, and how the waves of this movement evolved to become intersectional. The lyrics emphasize how the feminist movement is made up of a wide range of diverse actors to truly achieve the social change needed to destroy the patriarchy and all other forms of systemic oppression.
Break Out EP
This sophomore EP of Soy Celesté features her full band sound. This is a collection of songs is about breaking out of toxic patterns and relationships so something new can emerge.
I’ll Tell You What
This grunge song comes from the memory of how it felt for Celesté to receive a handwritten letter from an ex, who claimed that she was a fraud. The lyrics tell the story of the impact the letter had on Celesté’s mindset, and what ultimately pushed her to end this toxic relationship and dispell these harmful beliefs.

Unwinding
This debut EP “Unwinding” is a collection of songs that describe what it feels like to undo entanglements that can come with the end of a tremulous and volatile relationship. As Celesté found herself navigating a sudden and intense divorce in 2021, she turned to song writing.
